Fortnite continues to defy what a video game can be as a platform. This Friday players will be able to hop inside the game and watch a movie from renowned filmmaker Christopher Nolan who is probably best known for making The Dark Knight. The news was announced on Fortnite's official Twitter and comes shortly after Nolan's newest film Tenant debuted its latest trailer in the game. It was already confirmed earlier last month that the battle royale game was set on showing a Nolan film sometime during the summer.

There are three different films that are being shown including Inception, Batman Begins, and The Prestige. Unfortunately, however, players will not be able to choose which movie they would like to watch and is instead dependant on what country you live in. Your region also determines how many showings of the assigned movie will play throughout Friday aiming anywhere between one to three.

Here is a list of major countries with their film and showtimes:

  • United States, Mexico, Japan - Inception at 5 am, 5 pm, and 855 pm PDT
  • United Kingdom, Canada, and Germany - The Prestige at 9 am PDT
  • Brazil, France, and India - Batman Begins at 1 am and 1 pm PDT

For those that live in a different country than the ones listed above, you can visit the Epic Games site to find out your country's film and showtimes. It is worth noting that there are certain countries that are not participating in this event.

Fortnite is available to download for free on PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, PC, Mac, iOS, and Android.
