Watch_Dogs 2’s Seamless Multiplayer Delayed Until Next Patch

on November 14, 2016 8:39 AM

Ubisoft has delayed/disabled Watch_Dogs 2’s seamless multiplayer features, a day before the game’s launch, until the next patch arrives.

According to Ubisoft, the seamless multiplayer feature is causing lag issues in the game, and in turn the publisher has delayed the feature until the next patch is deployed — which is currenlty in certification by Xbox and Sony.

Until that patch arrives, players can still enjoy single player as well as play co-op by inviting friends via the game menu. However, Bounty-Hunter mode and other activities that occur with players beyond your friend’s list will be unavailable until the patch ships.

We will be sure to let you know when the patch goes live. Watch_Dogs 2 is set to launch tomorrow on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
