Watch Dogs for Wii U Gets November Release Date (UPDATED)

Update: Ubisoft officially confirmed via press release that the Wii U version of the game has a release date on November 18th in North America.

Watch Dogs brought players to the cyber-vigiliante world of near-future Chicago back in May this year, and now thanks to a Facebook post from Ubisoft Mexico, we may know when to expect the (long in waiting) Wii U version of Ubisoft’s title, and it isn’t too far away.

A Facebook post on Ubisoft Mexico’s page, having been deleted since now, indicates that the Wii U version of Watch Dogs will release in that territory on November 18th, 2014. Though the post only applies to Mexico’s release, the release date slip could at least be a good indication that the Wii U version will release in November for other areas as well, as November 18th does fall on a Tuesday, the typical day in the US when new game releases are out.

Watch Dogs is currently available on PS4, Xbox One, PS3, Xbox 360, and PC, with the Wii U version coming later this year.
