After an initial delay from its previous March 6 release date., we have finally got some more information on Watch Dogs: Legion during today’s Ubisoft Forward digital event. During the show, it was revealed that the game will be releasing later this year on October 29.

Watch Dogs: Legion is shaping up to be a pretty interesting twist on the normal open-world formula. In the third entry, players will be able to play up to 20 different characters at a time. Every NPC that you can take control of will have their own backstory, personality, dialogue, and narrative. Players will have to choose which of the NPC’s that they have recruited will be the most efficient choice for certain missions depending on their skills.

Ubisoft also went into some gameplay features as well. We got a glimpse at how players will be able to take advantage of certain characters’ special skills as well as how there are multiple ways to tackle certain objectives, depending on the choice of character the player uses. You can take a look at the latest gameplay trailer below.

I had a lot of fun with Watch Dogs 2 and this one is shaping up to be an interesting take on the genre, to say the least.

Fans will be able to hop into the third entry into the Watch Dogs series later this year on PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
