With only a few days away until its launch, Watch Dogs: Legion is almost here and ready to deliver an interesting new take on its hacking-based open-world gameplay. Allowing players to be able to take command of anyone as part of a growing resistance, it seems like Legion has taken control of more than just NPCs, as some may have noticed on digital game stores this week.Ahead of the game's release this week, Ubisoft snuck a bit of clever marketing in on digital storefronts for the upcoming Watch Dogs sequel. Specifically, during a series of Ubisoft-focused sales on places such as the Xbox Games Store and Uplay, Legion made its way into a number of past Ubisoft games with "hacked" cover art.You can take a look at a few of them below, which includes hit Ubisoft games such as Assassin's Creed Odyssey, Rainbow Six Siege, Far Cry 5, Trials Rising, and many more.

Naturally, the "hacked" cover art is an extension of Ubisoft using its past franchises and games to promote upcoming ones, and it fits the style and vibe of Legion quite well. Additionally, Legion will also feature a crossover with the Assassin's Creed series in its Season Pass, along with appearances from past Watch Dogs characters like Aiden Pearce and Wrench.

Watch Dogs: Legion will release for PS4, Xbox One, PC, and Google Stadia on October 29, 2020. The game will also arrive for Xbox Series X/Series S on November 10, 2020, followed by its release for PS5 on November 12, 2020.
