Watch Doom Running with the Vulkan API in New Fantastic 1080p/60 FPS Direct Feed Footage

During an event last week, Bethesda and Nvidia showcased Doom running at pretty insane frame rates on a Nvidia GTX 1080 using the Vulkan API.

Today, the house of GeForce released a direct feed video, this time running on a Titan X card, at 120 field of view. Resolution and frame rate are are 1080p and stable 60 FPS.

While it’s not one of the new and shiny GTX 1080, it still looks great. Check it out below.

Hailing from sunny (not as much as people think) Italy and long standing gamer since the age of Mattel Intellivision and Sinclair ZX Spectrum. Definitely a multi-platform gamer, he still holds the old dear PC nearest to his heart, while not disregarding any console on the market. RPGs (of any nationality) and MMORPGs are his daily bread, but he enjoys almost every other genre, prominently racing simulators, action and sandbox games. He is also one of the few surviving fans of the flight simulator genre on Earth.
