The ALS Ice Bucket challenge has gone viral, and the video game industry has recently gotten involved big time. After the first timid attempts the awareness campaign boomed, and now almost everyone writing code for our games or publishing them is taking buckets of icy water to the head in other to raise awareness for amyotrophic lateral sclerosis research.
It’s hard to say who started, but no one seems to want to be the last, so the nominations are flying back and forth like water bombs, quite literally.
Below you can see many of those brave souls in action in video form (there are many more, of course), but remember that whether you’re nominated or not, you can help by donating even a small (or big, why not?) amount yourself here. Taking a bucket full of icy water to the face is a bonus.
