Coming off the heels of the surprising revelation from producer/host Geoff Keighley at tonight's The Game Awards 2015 that Metal Gear Solid series creator Hideo Kojima wasn't allowed to attend the event due to legal reasons, the stinging blow of such news can at least be tempered a bit thanks to a stunning musical rendition from Metal Gear Solid V's own Quiet, voice actress Stefanie Joosten.

During the ceremony, the show broke into quite a beautiful musical segment with Joosten and an accompanying choir performing "Quiet's Theme," one of the numerous musical themes that players could enjoy during Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain, which you can also enjoy down below right from tonight's broadcast:
