If you follow this site regularly you probably already know that Kazunori Yamauchi, the father of the Gran Turismo series, is not new to real racing.

In the past three years he raced in the Nurburgring 24h, one of the most prestigious endurance races in the world, and this year he achieved his second class victory as part of Team GT Academy, which also included Tobias Schulze (that raced with Yamauchi last year), Opera Performance founder Yasukichi Yamamoto and the first GT Academy winner Lucas Ordoñez.

The day after the event Sony Computer Entertainment published a highlight video of the first part of the race (that you can find here), and today they finally got around releasing the second part.

If you love racing and Gran Turismo, the clip is a real treat. You can check it out below.

He is also one of the few surviving fans of the flight simulator genre on Earth.
