Watch the EVE Online DirectX 11 Demo, Keynote and the DUST 514 Keynote from Fanfest 2012

Yesterday CCP Games published the recording of the CCP Presents keynote. Today they went a step further, releasing the video of the DirectX 11 Demo shown during the presentation, and the full footage of the two keynotes specific to EVE Online and DUST 514.

The DirectX 11 demo is extremely impressive, especially thanks to the lighting effects and the shattering asteroids (and as an active EVE player I really hope the community will prove accepting towards the implementation of the feature), while the keynotes include a lot of information on the present and the future of the two games.

The main attraction can be found in the DUST 514 keynote video starting from the 20:15 mark, as one of the developers demonstrates how EVE players will be able to perform orbital bombardment operations in real time against their enemies in DUST 514. I’m quite sure many didn’t even think this would be possible, but apparently it is, and personally I can’t wait.
