For a few years now Gran Turismo, Sony and Nissan have turned a few gamers with talent into actual real life racing drivers (and successful ones at that) through the GT Academy selection.

Today Sony published the entire 2012 season of the North American GT Academy competition giving us a nice bird-eye view on the struggles of our fellow gamers as they gave their all to fulfill their life's dream.

It's definitely entertaining to watch if you like cars and this kind of show, especially considering that you can catch quite a few pointers by the instructors for your own driving (simulated or not).
