It's always good to see money go to a worthy cause. March 17th's We Heart Japan Charity Art Event made just under $7500 in its art auctions and donations, all of which went to the Japan NGO Earthquake Relief and Recovery Fund (hit the link for more information, as well as donation opportunities). Sponsors and donors included groups like Bandai Entertainment, Geneon Entertainment, and Crunchyroll, and the event had several special guests, mostly notable voice actors like Wendee Lee (Faye Valentine from Cowboy Bebop, Konata from Lucky Star), Mary Elizabeth McGlynn (Motoko Kusanagi from Ghost in the Shell), and the one and only Cripsin Freeman (Alucard from Hellsing, the enemy soldiers in Metal Gear Solid 4, too many other awesome roles to list).

We Heart Japan is gonna be doing a few more charity events, so be sure to hit up their site for more information on upcoming ways to help out Japan.
