Monster Hunter is big in Japan, big enough that a prominent optics company like Alook created a set of glasses dedicated to the upcoming Monster Hunter 4. After all, why having your frame in classic but overly common tortoiseshell when you can have them fashioned with Goa Magara (the new cover monster of MH4) scales?
The set includes six different glasses representing six iconic monsters, each coming with its custom case and cleaning towel, and don’t think for a moment that they’re cheap or gaudy merchandising items, the manufacture is of the same quality as the best eyewear produced by the company. The design is also subtle enough to be worn without standing out too much. Those that don’t know Monster Hunter probably wouldn’t know what you’re actually wearing.
Their price ranges between 8,400 ($87) and 10,500 yen ($109), and they will be released in Japan on the same day as the game, September the 14th.
Wanna see them? You can in the gallery just below. Hell, I’d wear them.
