Another weekend, another list of cool weekend deals from around the internet.  Read on to see all the great sales.

First up is a big one.  Known for almost never going on sale (save four weeks ago when I bought it at around $15 during the Steam Sale), this weeks first deal is Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines.   This game is a huge fan favorite, but was released with a number of flaws that kept it a bit more in the shadows.  The most noticeable of these shadows was the fact that it was released on the same day as Half-Life 2.  In spite of that, the game is still fun, and with some patching is still very playable today.  Especially for $5.

Next, on EA's own Origin downloading service there are a large number of great games on sale this weekend for $5.  The first is Battlefield: Bad Company 2Bad Company 2 is an awesome shooter, with a stellar environment destruction engine, a multiplayer that rivals the fun of games like Counter-Strike and Modern Warfare and a solid single player campaign.  Another title on sale is Mercenaries 2Mercenaries 2 is another fun game that for the price should certainly provide hours of entertainment.  While it isn't quite as amazing as Just Cause 2, it is still rather satisfying to call in artillery and air strikes on unsuspecting foes, and watch their buildings crumble to the ground.  EA's own Parkour/Vibrant Dystopia simulator, Mirrors Edge is also on sale.  This is the perfect time to catch up on a great gem if you missed it, as the game's sequel is looking more and more certain every day.  There are many more games on sale this weekend from EA on Origin.  You can check out the rest of them here.

Finally, this weekend on GameStop's Impulse service is the surprisingly funny Bulletstorm for $15.  While this game underperformed at launch, it was a vibrant, well written and overall fun adventure featuring a ridiculous and over-the-top cast of characters and one awesome level where you pilot a dinosaur.

So if you are at a lack of something to play if you've just beaten Catherine, Bastion or one of the other late summer titles, there are plenty of amazing titles on sale this weekend to tide you over until Deus Ex and the other August games come out.
