Blizzard has announced that “Weird Al” Yankovic is set to be this year’s musical guest at BlizzCon, which takes place next month.

The performance will take place on Saturday, November 5th to close the show. And while BlizzCon is completely sold out, you can still watch the concert via purchasing a BlizzCon virtual ticket for $40 USD.

The parody singer, who is best known for songs such as “Smells Like Nirvana” and “Amish Paradise,” is not the first famous musician to take the stage, with past performers including: Linkin Park, Blink 182, and Ozzy Osbourne.

Weird Al added the following about the announcement:

“I’m very excited to be playing at BlizzCon, because it’ll be one of the few times in my life where a significant percentage of the audience is even nerdier than I am!”

Personally, I think live performances at game events like this are always an odd choice, but you do you Blizzard. You do you.
