Timothy Williams, composer for films 300 and Conan the Barbarian as well as games Rise of the Argonauts and Defense of the Ancients 2, posted his resume online, which revealed a not-so-subtle hint for the God of War franchise. Listed as one of his upcoming works is the soundtrack for God of War IV.

The photo past the cut shows a screencapture of  William's resume, and bam -- there it is.

The game will supposedly follow Kratos and his brother Deimos as they attempt to bust out of the Underworld. Now take that image and set it to that amazing music if 300 when they are swatting soldier off a cliff. Indeed, the Ghost of Sparta will fight in the shade. Errr, yes.

The listing for God of War IV has since been removed because the Internet exploded into a frenzy, as is its wont. Rumor has it the game is slated for release sometime this year and will include online multiplayer. Neat!
