In the latest edition of "Japanese Stuff We'll Never Get", shoemaker Converse has partnered with Nintendo to bring Japan a very handsome pair of high top shoes. Available in both black and white variations, the shoes will be covered with tiny Mario sprites. Although you can't really see it, the front of the tongue also appears to have a decoration on it.
Additionally, the iconic Converse star has been replaced with the equally memorable star of invincibility from the Mario series. Obviously, they're also a limited edition.
