Microsoft's Inside Xbox at X019 has housed several new game announcements, including Everwild, Grounded, and now West of Dead.

Developed by Upstream Arcade and published by Raw Fury, West of Dead is a top-shooter shooter that stars a Ghost Rider-looking bandit that is voiced by Ron Pearlman. That character is named William Mason and has lost his memory in death. Now that he has been brought back in Purgatory, he must make his way through procedurally generated levels.

On the gameplay side of things, West of Dead stands out from other twin-stick shooters because it has a cover system that will allow players to be more tactical to how they approach enemies. If you are interested in the game, Raw Fury is holding an open beta on Xbox One between today and November 25. It has also been confirmed that West of Dead will be available via Xbox Game Pass when it launches.

Its visual style is pretty striking and the game has quickly made its way onto my radar. Check out the reveal trailer and its first screenshots below. West of Dead will release for PC, PS4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch in 2020.
