Island Ordinances is one of the new features that have been introduced in the massive Animal Crossing: New Horizons 2.0 update. The functionality of ordinances is pretty similar to New Leaf, except for a few exceptions. Using these ordinances, players can affect the way in which the town operates. They are namely:

  • Beautiful Town/Island ordinance
  • Early Bird
  • Night Owl
  • Bell Boom (Wealthy Ordinance)

Now let's move on to the main question at hand -

ACNH Beautiful Island Ordinance

Players can use the Beautiful Island Ordinance to keep the island neat and tidy. The main purpose of this ordinance is to assist players who may not be able to visit and help maintain their island on a daily basis.

Once you enforce the Beautiful Island Ordinance in ACNH, villagers will help you water the crops, flowers, clear the trash and start weeding. Apart from this, time travelling does not affect the town's environment. The flowers won't die and cockroaches will not appear at all. Besides this, hybrids are 20% more likely to spawn.

You will have to spend 20,000 Bells to enforce the Beautiful Island ordinance and it can be changed in the Resident Services building.

So that's all you need to know about this ordinance. In case you have more queries, feel free to drop a comment below!
