Homegrown Talents are local young players in your club’s youth team with great potential of becoming a star player in your team in the future. A Homegrown Talent’s nationality is the same as the country your league is based at.
If you manage to train Homegrown Talents regularly and allow them to play in different matches in your first squad, they will gradually reach their potential Overall, which is mostly over 90.
How to Get Homegrown Talents
Every now and then, you will receive a message from the Assistant Coach titled Youth Academy Report. If you open the report, you will see a list of young players with a high rate of potential Overall. The one with the highest current and potential Overalls could be your team’s Homegrown Talent.
Mostly, supporting and developing the Youth Academy is one of the board’s goals for the club. So, you need to keep an eye out for young players at your club.
