It Takes Two is the latest action-adventure title from Swedish developers Hazelight Studios.

The game is being directed by none other than Josef Fares, who really rose to prominence during a Game Awards interview in which he pulled no punches.

Alongside developing some solid titles, he is known for his straight-talking personality, most recently calling the Xbox Series S/X out for having “a F**King Confusing Name.”

His latest title, It Takes Two is set to release very soon, so expect to see more from him then, but in the meantime, here is every console the game is coming too.

How will It Takes Two's Co-op Work?

It Takes Two is designed to be a fully cooperative game, much like Fares' most recent release, A Way Out. Players will be able to play the game either online or via local split-screen.

The good news for players is, much like A Way Out, players will be able to take advantage of the “Friends Pass”. This pass allows one person to purchase the game, but give a friend a code to join in with them, regardless of whether they've purchased the title or not.

What Consoles is It Takes Two on?

When it releases, It Takes Two is set for a plethora of consoles. Developed in Unreal Engine 4, It Takes Two will be available for purchase on Microsoft Windows, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and the f**king confusing Xbox Series S/X.

On PC, players will be able to purchase the game through both Steam and Origin.

  • ANSWERED - Is It Takes Two Going to be on Xbox Game Pass or EA Play?

What does that mean for the Nintendo Switch?

Unfortunately, it doesn't look like good news. Although It Takes Two looks like a perfect fit for the Switch, especially with the focus being on cooperative play, neither EA, Hazelight or Josef Fares have confirmed that the title will be hitting Nintendo's hybrid console.

We will keep you updated should this (hopefully) change in the future. But either way, there you have the answer to "what is It Takes Two on?"
