It's officially Wednesday, May 18, which means there's a brand new Lewdle puzzle to be solved. Here's today's answer and word of the day.

Since Lewdle debuted at the beginning of this year, players have been eager to keep their perfect streak alive. Now with a brand new puzzle for Wednesday, May 18, fans are eager to know the answer.

Unlike Wordle, Lewdle only consists of inappropriate words for players to guess, which can make things a little tricky if you don’t have your mind in the gutter 24/7. However, the developers have been adding new updates and features frequently, to try and make things a little more interesting for players.

There are currently two modes for players to use in Lewdle, with the first being known as ‘Just The Tip’, this mode allows users to reveal a single letter in the puzzle, but can only be used once per guess and will incur a penalty to their daily score. The second mode is ‘Ghost Guesses’ which will also give players a penalty for using, but allows them to guess valid five-letter words in six-letter Lewdle puzzles.

Today’s Lewdle puzzle is a little easier than the previous ones this week, with the official answer for Wednesday, May 18 being FLAPS.

If you’re new to Lewdle, you need to ensure you input the answers before 9PM PT / 12AM ET / 5AM BST, as this is when the daily reset occurs.
