What Is the Mauer Der Toten Meaning?

In the German language, Mauer means “wall” and Toten means “kill” or “death.” On other hand, Der in German is something like “the” in English. Putting all these words together will get you to “Wall of the Dead.”

It’s yet to be seen how the name will be reflected on the map design, but it’s probably going to be an urban-like but ruined area. Hopefully, we are not far away from the map’s launch, so we will get the details soon enough.

In addition to Mauer der Toten, Cold War Season 4 also brings a new Outbreak region to the Zombies. The mode already has four different regions. There will also be a new Outbreak quest called Excision. Full details around these new Zombies additions will be shared on launch day, June 17.

Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War is now available on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, and PC.
