When Do The August 2021 PS Plus Games Come Out? PVZ & Hunter's Arena Legends Expected Release Time
New monthly games are almost here for PS Plus subscribers!
If you’re a subscriber of Sony’s popular PS Plus service, you’ll be pleased to know that it’s almost time for a new bunch of games. With the August PS Plus games right around the corner, here’s an expected release time for when you can get your hands on them.
As there isn’t long left until new games rotate in on PS Plus, it’s also a reminder to claim your free games for July now before they disappear. Simply head to the PS Plus tab in the store and claim the games. Even if you don’t want to play them just yet, simply claiming them allows you to download them at a later date, as long as you remain a PS Plus subscriber.

What Are The PS Plus Games For August?
The next line of games for PS Plus in August was officially announced on July 29th. Check out the PS4 and PS5 games available this month below:
- Hunter’s Arena: Legends (PS5 & PS4)
- Plants vs Zombies: Battle For Neighborville (PS4)
- Tennis World Tour 2 (PS4)
Although some of these titles are only available for PlayStation 4, they are still playable on the PlayStation 5 via forward compatibility. However, these are native PlayStation 4 games and will not be visually enhanced for the PlayStation 5.
When Do The August PS Plus Games Come Out?
So, when can you get your hands on the PS Plus games for August 2021? Well, the official announcement states that the new games will be available from August 3rd, 2021 until September 6th, 2021.
As for the exact release time for the August PS Plus games, Sony is yet to reveal an official time. It’s likely that the monthly PS Plus titles will become available at midnight in your local region. However, the developers of Hunter’s Arena: Legends have revealed the launch times for the upcoming PS Plus title.
Hunter’s Arena: Legends will launch at 9AM PT / 10 AM BST / 12PM ET.
