Genshin Impact 1.5 Update is slated to release soon, and it will be adding two new characters Eula and Yanfei, story quests, new weapons and a brand new housing system. The update will also be the last update before the Inazuma region will be added to the game, according to leaks, so there is a lot of hype around it.

The 1.5 Update is slated to release on 28th April, 2021. Before the update is available to play, the game will be undergoing a scheduled maintenance. Here is all you need to know about the update release time as well as server maintenance information.

The maintenance will be starting on 28th April at 06:00 (UTC+8). This means that the game will go down at that time, which is at 17:00 ET on 27th April, 2021. It is also stated that the maintenance will be lasting for around 5 hours, so players will be unable to play the game during that time.
The update will be available to play at 11:00 (UTC +8) and 00:00 ET as per estimates, however, it should be noted that the server maintenance might take even longer to complete.
Like every update, players will also be getting compensation for the server downtime. For each hour the server is down, the players will be getting 60 Primogems. This means that players will get a total of 300 Primogems for server maintenance. It should be noted that if the maintenance is completed early, players will still get the 300 Primogems.
