Despite having its original world, Elden Ring isn't shy of inspiring from the well-known masterpieces in a different medium.

Berserk, a pretty popular manga series in the world, is only one source of inspiration for Hidetaka Miyazaki and FromSoftware in delivering the rich world of Elden Ring.

In an attempt to pay a tribute to Berserk, Elden Ring has a Greatsword heavily inspired by Guts' Greatsword, and you can grab it without much difficulty in the game.

Where to Get Elden Ring Guts Sword

Hopefully, you need to beat a giant boss fight to obtain the Guts Greatsword in Elden Ring. The weapon is hidden inside an abandoned carriage on the east side of the map between Caelum Ruins and Rotview Balcony Sites of Grace.

The image below (provided by AOTF) showcases the exact location of the carriage.

Although there is no boss fight in the area to prevent you from grabbing the Greatsword, there are different enemies lurking around the carriage. If you have a high-level character, take your time and defeat them before searching the carriage.

However, if you don't feel comfortable fighting, you can stealthily bypass the enemies and pick up the weapon without alarming anyone. There is just at the back of the carriage that you can get the sword from.

Guts Greatsword deals 164 damage before applying any tunings or tweaks on it, which makes it a pretty good weapon for starters in Elden Ring, though you need to have a character with bold Strength ability.

Elden Ring is now available on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, and PC.
