What is the Shaman King anime?

Like many Anime, Shaman King originated in manga form.

It follows Yoh Asakura and his journey as he attempts to become the Shaman King by way of winning the Shaman Fight.

The manga was abruptly finished in 2004, with its creator citing fatigue from the fans with the series.

After the initial manga release, the show was adapted into an anime that ran from July 2001 to September 2002 in Japan, before making its debut globally in 2003.

What are the details of the new series?

The new series has just started to broadcast in Japan across a range of different Japanese TV networks.

The show is set for a whopping 52 episodes, with the first 12 running between now and June 17.

Where to Watch Shaman King in 2021

Unfortunately, at this current time, there is no means of watching the new season of Shaman King in the western world.

However, the good news is the series has been acquired by Netflix and fans won't have to wait too much longer.

While the streaming company hasn't set an exact date, it is slated for this year.

The bad news regarding Netflix gaining the rights to the series is the fact that Crunchyroll and Funimation subscribers aren't likely to gain access to the show through either service.
