Far Cry 6 requires players to make some choices that can put you into a dilemma, but we have got you covered.

Just like the previous Far Cry games, we have quite an impactful villain in the latest installment as well. As players take part in the movement against dictator Antón Castillo (who has managed to raise a lot of eyeballs, because it is being played by Giancarlo Esposito), they will have to explore the vast open world of Yara.

Ubisoft is known for its massive open worlds, filled with tons of things to do, and Far Cry 6 is no exception. There are a total of five regions in the vast world of Yara, and players can explore these regions in any order they want, but if you are looking for an ideal order, here is all you need to know about it.

Which region to choose first in Far Cry 6? - Madrugada, Valle De Oro, El Este, Esperanza

Yara is divided into the following regions.

  • Isla Santuario
  • Madrugada
  • Valle De Oro
  • El Este
  • Esperanza

Isla Santuario is the place where the prologue of the game takes place. The objective of the game is to unite all the rebel factions to go against the dictator. And you will find these rebel factions in each of the three regions, Madrugada, Valle De Oro, and El Este. Madrugada is representative of the Tobacco farmers who is being exploited by Anton, Valle De Oro features the youth, while El Este consists of both students and legends from past revolutions.

You can progress through the journey via any of these regions, but the best way is to go to Madrugada first. This will give you an idea about the Viviro, one of the predominant themes in the game. You will also be getting Chorizo in that region, so that's another factor to keep in mind. Esperanza is the capital, and you will eventually reach there after completing some missions.
