What If features a spin-off of a character from the Marvel Cinematic Universe. If a follow-up episode was created for at least one of the current episodes, which would you want to see?

Since its release, there has been a huge buzz surrounded Marvel's animated series. As a Marvel fan, this isn't surprising at all. The series is exclusive to Disney+ so many persons who previously did not have an account, have now made one to catch all of the exciting shows.

It is the fourth television series in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) and the first animated series produced by Marvel. The aim of the series is to scout alternate timelines in the multiverse. It allows fans to see what could possibly happen if something or someone throughout the MCU was different.

What If Episode Lineup

Currently, the series contains one season of nine episodes. Each episode stands on its own and does not connect to each other in any way, shape or form. Therefore, you can watch any of them in any order you wish. The current line-up of episodes is as follows.

  • Episode 1: ...Captain Carter Were the First Avenger?
  • Episode 2: ...T'Challa Became a Star-Lord?
  • Episode 3: ...the World Lost Its Mightiest Heroes?
  • Episode 4: ...Doctor Strange Lost His Heart Instead of His Hands?
  • Episode 5: ...Zombies?!

If One Episode Received an Episode Two

As we know, each episode focuses on one character and isn't related to any previous or ongoing episode. Therefore, the question lingers, if Marvel created an episode two for one episode only from season one, which episode would it be?

Personally, I would prefer to get a follow-up of episode two. This is definitely biased as I would just like to be able to hear Chadwick Boseman's voice once more, but unfortunately, that would be impossible. If it was possible though, I do think Marvel could find a way to elaborate and build even more of a story about T'Challa as the Star-Lord.

Though season two releases in 2022, there is no way to know if it will be a continuation of episodes or brand new ones. There is definitely room for more to be built upon each episode, but Marvel always does that, don't they?

One thing is for sure, What If has gotten fans more excited for what's more to come in the MCU.
