White Knight Chronicles Gets a Sequel

The oft-forgotten PS3 exclusive RPG White Knight Chronicles hasn’t even been released here in North America yet and already there’s an announcement of its sequel being in development.  Famitsu magazine has confirmed that White Knight Chronicles: The Awaken of the Light & Darkness is blazing its way to PS3s sometime in the future.  Rumor has it Sony and developer Level 5 will be showing a trailer for the sequel at this week’s Tokyo Game Show and officially announce it to the world.

I’m still looking forward to this title arriving in the West and am slightly jealous of the sequel announcement of the game, since we haven’t even seen the first installment yet.  Once the game is released over here, is anyone still going to care?
