In the trailer, we can hear some recognizable names, including Rickard Stark, Corlys Velaryon, and many more. However, it was definitely the Targaryen name that caught every GOT fan's attention. Well, here's every Targaryen member featured in the trailer.

King Viserys Targaryen (Paddy Considine)

King Viserys was one of the most respected Targaryen to sit on the Iron Throne. He was the fifth Targaryen who ruled the realm from 103 AC to 129 AC. Besides the people, King Viserys was loved by the Lords because of his generosity. So, it's no wonder that almost every house pledged their loyalty to Viserys when he was on the Iron Throne. King Viserys was a dragon rider who had a deep connection with his dragon, Balerion, who died of old age.

King Viserys had a similar death, as he died in 129 AC during a nap, and Aegon II Targaryen went on to become his successor to sit on the throne.

Daemon Targaryen (Matt Smith)

King of the Stepstones and Narrow sea, Daemon Targaryen was a fierce warrior of House Targaryen. Daemon played a crucial part During the Dance of the Dragons, the civil war between the seven kingdoms happened after King Viserys' death. The war was to decide who would be the successor of King Viserys', and Daemon Targaryen was a firm supporter of his wife, Rhaenyra Targaryen.

Daemon wielded Valyrian steel, and he also rode a dragon named Caraxes. People remembered Daemon as a charming warrior who could win any battle because of his strong will and ambition.

Rhaenyra Targaryen (Emma D'Arcy)

The Half-Year Queen, Rhaenyra Targaryen, was the first child of King Viserys. She was a dragonrider who mounted Syrax, and Rhaenyra was always meant to sit on the Iron Throne after her father's demise. Rhaenyra was known for her beauty in the Westeros, and in 113 AC, Rhaenyra successfully took possession of the Dragonstone. Every Game of Thrones fan might recognize the significance of Dragonstone, so it's no surprise that several Lords pledged their loyalty to Rhaenyra.

However, things didn't go in Rhaenyra's favor after her father's death, as she was challenged by her half-brother, Aegon II Targaryen. In fact, it was Rhaenyra's conflict with Aegon II that started the Dance of the Dragon, the civil war that ended with Rhaenyra's death.
