Who Is Billy Hargrove In Stranger Things?

Billy is not shown as a good guy in the series. He is one of the antagonists of the show who works in the Hawkings Community Pool as a lifeguard. In the series, Billy was born in 1967 to Neil Hargrove. His mother is unnamed in the series, and Billy also has a stepsister named Max. Billy's parents divorced due to his father's bullying and abusive nature towards them. And due to his father's behavior, Billy Hargrove adopted the bullying nature himself. Billy made his appearance in the show in seasons 2 and 3.

Billy enjoys seeking women's attention, and that's why he loves his lifeguard job. He also sets a date with one of the women who come to the pool. While going to meet his new date, Billy has an accident, and there he gets abducted by the Mind Flayer. He is then converted to one of his minions as the Mind Flayer controls Billy's mind. Mind Flayer starts to use Billy to lure more people to the factory to create a bigger army of Flayers. Later, when Billy is suspected of being one of the Flayers, they lock him in the sauna and raise the room's temperature. Here's How Billy Dies In Stranger Things

Eleven helps Billy get control over his mind back by using her psychic powers to enter his brain and remind him of his childhood. As he gets back his childhood memories, Mind Flayer's influence starts to weaken, and Billy is set free from his control. Billy then attacks Mind Flayer, which makes him furious, and now he is after Billy. As a result, Mind Flayer pierces Billy with several of his tentacles, with one tentacle going directly through his heart, unfortunately killing Billy. However, at the time when Mind Flayer was busy fighting Billy, others managed to overpower the creature from Upside Down.
