Who Is Eleanor Bishop In Hawkeye?

In Marvel Studios' Hawkeye, Eleanor Bishop is portrayed by Vera Farmiga who many will know from massive blockbuster movies such as The Conjuring, Godzilla: King of The Monsters, The Judge, and even TV Shows such as Bates Motel.

Eleanor is the mother of Kate Bishop, who is portrayed by Hailee Steinfeld in Marvel Studios' Hawkeye. So, what else do we know about Eleanor aside from being a mother?

Eleanor Bishop Marvel History and Origins

Unlike many of the other characters in the MCU or Comic Books, Eleanor Bishop doesn't have a rich back story filled with superhuman abilities. However, there is one interesting piece of information worth noting about Kate's mother.

During issue number five of Young Avengers Vol 2, Eleanor was allegedly killed whilst on a trip to Colorado. She had left her husband Derek Bishop to raise their two daughters. However, it was later discovered that she was in fact alive and instructing Kate Bishops' arch-nemesis, Madame Masque.
