Hasan Piker's Twitch account has been banned for the third time in his streaming career on the platform, and this one is for "anti-white racism."

Twitch has proved over time that it is pretty strict and aggressive on using any kind of slurs that reflect racism, no matter it's against black or white people.

To be honest, this degree of aggressiveness is much needed for controlling a popular platform like Twitch and ensuring a peaceful time for both streamers and viewers. As a result, even if somebody uses one of those uncommon slurs, and even if it is just a slip of the tongue, a temporary ban would be inevitable.

Hasan Piker's Twitch Account Banned for the Third Time

In his most recent stream with nearly 40,000 viewers, Hasan Piker used the term "cracker" against white people, and soon after the stream he was banned by twitch for "anti-white racism."

In case you don't know, the term "cracker" has been a racial slur for over 200 years now. It is mostly used toward white people, especially poor rural whites, according to Wikipedia.

Now, although Hasan himself doesn't believe "cracker" is a racial slur, and criticizes Twitch for banning his moderators for using the aforementioned term, it actually is an offensive word toward white people, though it might be an uncommon slur nowadays.

The duration of Hasan's Twitch ban is yet to be known, but it shouldn't take longer than a week for this streamer to get back to his channel and continue streaming.

Prior to this, Hasan Piker was once banned for a week by Twitch back in August 2019.
