Lately the internet has been abuzz with Wii 2 rumors ranging from the systems specs, “Project Café” code name , and its imminent debut announcement at this year’s E3. Heck, even we have our own rumors to speak of. But what are the chances that all these rumors are true? Well coming from a man who analyzes video games and works for a video game research firm for a living, the Wii 2 is happening. Renowned video game analyst and vice-president of EEDAR’s financial division, Jesse Divnich, has told DualShockers what he believes regarding the Wii’s successor and the rumors surrounding it.

“It’s happening. But no way they use the Wii name. Wii HD is too late, they need to go full blown 8th Generation.”

Although, Mr. Divnich’s comments cannot be taken as fact, his experience in the gaming industry makes him more than qualified to speak out on video game matters. After all HD is like beating a dead horse now a days. With this “confirmation” of Nintendo’s next console being in development…can we expect an announcement at this years E3? We’ll find out soon enough.

Pretty much your above average gamer who plays games profusely and appreciates them even more. Been gaming since the NES but is in love with anything PlayStation. No I am not a typical fanboy...I appreciate each system for their strengths and recognize their weaknesses. I just love the PS brand. (Think along the lines as someone who likes to read but loves one author in particular). Ever since my time as #2 in the world at Resistance 2, I have taken video games much more seriously. Don't get me wrong, I am a laid back, fun guy to game with...but I always play to win.
