Wii Fit U Box Art Released Along with New Looks at the Fit Meter

It’s already almost the end of the year: holidays are coming, huge family dinners will be had, and weight-loss goals will be crushingly-broken. Luckily though, Wii Fit U will be right around the corner to help you get a head start before the onslaught of turkey dinners and Christmas feasts (and maybe even get ahead on your 2014 New Year’s resolutions for you earlybirds!).

New images of the various bundles and boxes for Nintendo’s upcoming Wii Fit U have been released to show the North American cover art, and a few images have also surfaced of the Fit Meter, a new device coming alongside the new installment of Nintendo’s fitness training series. As a pedometer, the Fit Meter will track your steps taken as you exercise and also provide a counter for how many calories burned on a walk/run or exercise session, and will automatically sync with the Wii U Gamepad to upload your latest workout data.

Wii Fit U releases this coming holiday season for the Wii U on November 1st for the eShop, followed shortly after by a retail release on December 13th, 2013.
