Wii Laptop Is Simply Amazing

Modding game consoles to have a smaller, more portable form is certainly nothing new; and yet I find myself jealous and excited each time I see one. This time it wasn’t the infamous Ben Heck making headlines, but a modder known by the alias of ShockSlayer. Utilizing a built in 7″ LCD screen, built in speakers and sensor bar, as well as installing a SATA HDD so he can install the games straight to the console, ShockSlayer has created quite an amazing little piece of hardware.

Is it just me, or does that thing look suspiciously like a Nintendo 64 though? That’s pretty awesome in it’s own right. Check out a video of the Wii Laptop in action after the break.
