Wii Mini Heading to UK

Nintendo has announced that on March 22nd, the Wii Mini will see release in the UK.

The Wii Mini is a stripped down version of the Wii that has no composite out, network capabilities, backwards compatibility, and only one USB port. No one is really sure of the purpose of this version other than to possibly move more systems at a lower cost. This system may be great for parents or gamers on a shoe string budget that may want to catch up on some of the great Wii titles they may have missed.

No word on if the console is being released in other regions such as North America, but keep an eye is any further releases are announced for this pretty looking but somewhat gimped Wii.
