Nintendo released an impressive video of Xenoblade Chronicles X, showcasing the Day/Night cycle and possible weather types on Planet Mira.

The time will cycle between early morning, morning, afternoon, evening, night, and midnight, while the weather will vary between sunny, cloudy, rainy, thunderstorm, aurora, and there will also be special weather conditions like heat waves and dust storms.

Among the screenshots at the bottom of the gallery we can also see how we can easily skip time by using the rest spot at the camps of the Blades.

In addition to that, they also released artwork and screenshots showcasing two new characters and prominent member of the Blades Organization, Rao and Doug.

Rao is a cool leader among the Blades. While he appears cold, he’s very sharp, and has a warm heart hidden behind his shell. His ability is very respected by Elma.

Doug is a combat expert, and despite his rough looks, he’s actually rather open and friendly. He’s one of Elma’s subordinates. He and Rao are friends since the times in which they were squad mates in the U.S. Army.
