Wii U Network IDs Detailed

By Paul Quinones

November 7, 2012

Nintendo has announced that the Wii U will be able to store twelve different Nintendo Network IDs on a single system.

Each account will have its own personal Mii connected to it and unique recommendations on Miiverse, save date, and internet bookmarks. All games downloaded through the eShop can be shared across all accounts on a single system, which requires only on purchase of a game on the system.

It seems like Nintendo is beginning to move forward and away from the dreaded Friend Codes. This shows how serious they seem to be taking online with their upcoming console. Only time will tell if it pays off for them but this should be a relief to many with the launch of the system a little over a week away.
