Demon Slayer just started on December 5, 2021, its "real" season 2, with the beginning of the Entertainment District arc, and you might be wondering if it'll ever be added to Netflix, and when.

Right now, Demon Slayer Kimetsu no Yaiba is one of the most popular anime series of all time, with Funimation and Crunchyroll both simulcasting the series.

The two streaming services, who are actually in the process of merging after Sony's Funimation bought Crunchyroll this August, have been simulcasting Kimetsu since the first season, aired from April to September 2019. However, the first season ended up on Netflix as well starting January 22, 2021.

Meanwhile, the Demon Slayer Kimetsu no Yaiba Mugen Train movie was released on simulcast in the US on Funimation on June 22, 2021. But has yet to be added to Netflix.

Will Demon Slayer Season 2 Entertainment District be added on Netflix and when?

Taking these past instances into account, it's unlikely Demon Slayer Season 2 will be added to Netflix while the series is still airing in Japan and simulcasted. Simultaneously, the fact that Netflix already got the rights for Demon Slayer Season 2 in other regions is another confirmation it'll be added to Netflix USA at some point. For now the only thing you can do is wait or watch the series on Funimation or Crunchyroll.
