Hell Let Loose has been confirmed to be releasing on both PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S this week, but will PS4 and Xbox One owners ever get to play the anticipated FPS title?

Following the departure from Early Access, Hell Let Loose was released for PC back in July. The release of the tactical FPS was then followed by an announcement that it would be arriving to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S in October, and will even be free for PS Plus subscribers.

But with Hell Let Loose being an incredibly popular FPS title amongst PC users, owners of all consoles, current or next-gen, are eager to get their hands on it. So, will Hell Let Loose ever receive a PS4 or Xbox One release?

Will Hell Let Loose Be On PS4 and Xbox One?

Unfortunately, it looks like Hell Let Loose won't be coming to the older generation of consoles. Black Matter, the developers of Hell Let Loose, haven't commented on if their game will ever release for PlayStation 4 or Xbox One.

With the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S consoles only just coming up to their one-year anniversary, it seems strange that Hell Let Loose wouldn't receive a release for the older consoles.

However, this could simply be due to hardware limitations. Hell Let Loose places players in large-scale WWII maps with huge 50v50 battles, meaning the previous generation of consoles simply might struggle to run it.

Never say never, but as of writing, it doesn't look like Hell Let Loose will come to PS4 or Xbox One any time soon.

When Does Hell Let Loose Release?

Hell Let Loose is available right now on PC, and is set to release for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S on Tuesday, October 5th, 2021.
