Is SMT 5 coming to PS4, Xbox One or PC?

Shin Megami Tensei V was first announced for Nintendo Switch back in January 2017, during the console's reveal event. However, since then, Shin Megami Tensei V was not announced on PC, PS4, Xbox One or any other platform, and is a Nintendo Switch exclusive.

The status as a Nintendo Switch exclusive of SMT V is even more reinforced seeing it was one of the first games announced for Switch, before the console's launch in March 2017. Nintendo Switch is the sole console where you can play SMT V right now.

Atlus SMT V PC port or enhanced version predictions, leaks

However, it's possible a PC port of SMT V will be announced in the long run. SMT V is the new biggest game from Atlus, which has been expending on PC lately. Most notably with the release of Persona 5 Strikers on Steam. Atlus is also used to releasing enhanced versions of their games with new content. Most of the time adding a new female character voiced by a popular seiyuu and who may or may not add interesting elements to the story.

Moreover, a new GeForce PC leak was shared on Reddit, and spotted by RPG Site. It most notably lists Shin Megami Tensei V for a PC release on February 1, 2022. It's highly unlikely this is a real release date and more of a placeholder date. The list itself is pretty suspicious too with highly doubtful projects like "Final Fantasy IX Remake" listed. However, it's possible the list uses remaster and remake interchangeably.

Furthermore, the list also includes several believable projects of ports or remasters for Tactics Ogre, Final Fantasy Tactics, or Chrono Cross. So it's possible Shin Megami Tensei V will release on PC too in the long run with an enhanced version containing all the DLCs and new content. Probably one year after the Switch release, assuming it's a one year exclusive.

Shin Megami Tensei V on Switch also has a deluxe edition with merch, and a digital deluxe edition. The JRPG by Atlus will be available in the US in a few hours as I'm writing this, click here for release times and details.
