Marvel fans finally got to see the much-awaited trailer for Venom 2: Let There Be Carnage. However, after watching the trailer, most fans are wondering if Spider-Man will appear in the sequel.

Venom 2: Let There Be Carnage features Tom Hardy again playing the role of Venom. And like 2018's Venom post-credit scene teased, Woody Harrelson plays another alien symbiote, Carnage. However, fans are disappointed because they didn't see any hint for Spider-Man cameo in the movie.

This brings us to our main question, Will Spider-Man make a cameo in Venom 2? Well, here's everything we know about it.

Will Spider-Man Be In Venom 2?

After watching the first trailer for Venom 2, it's unlikely that Tom Holland's Spider-Man will make an appearance in the movie; but there's more to it.

There were several speculations before Venom 2's trailer release about Spider-Man making a cameo. However, all those rumors were turned to dust after the trailer has officially released.

Honestly, if Sony is indeed planning on introducing Spider-Man in Venom 2, they would never reveal that in the trailer. Instead, the studio would likely save something massive like that for the post-credit scene, or for the final fight between CARNAGE and Venom. That's because in the comics, Spider-Man and Venom does team up to defeat CARNAGE.

We know that Sony wants to get Spider-Man and Venom in the same movie; and that's why Venom was PG-13 instead of Rated R. And according to rumors, Venom 2 will also be rated PG-13, for the same exact reason.

However, that still doesn't mean that Spider-Man will surely appear in Venom 2. That's because right now, we aren't even sure if Tom Hardy's Venom exists in the MCU. So, it's best to wait for movie's official release before jumping to any conclusions.
