Who Are The Sinister Six?

In the world of Marvel, The Sinister Six are a group of villains that team up to defeat Spider-Man.

Throughout the years of Marvel Comic books, there have been various iterations of the Sinister Six group, each featuring different members. The most famous villains to feature in the Sinister Six are:

  • Doctor Octopus
  • Electro
  • Sandman
  • Vulture
  • Green Goblin
  • Mysterio

But other notable members that have appeared as part of the Sinister Six in comic book history include Lizard, Venom, Rhino, and plenty more.

Fans Discover Sinister Six Hints In Spider-Man: No Way Home Trailer

The new teaser trailer for Spider-Man: No Way Home confirms the return of some of Peter Parker's most notable enemies. Albeit from a universe where he has never actually met them before, but if you've seen Sony's original Spider-Man movies then you'll understand.

Doctor Octopus will be returning, possibly alongside plenty of other Spider-Man villains.

No Way Home's trailer features plenty of hints towards the Sinister Six, including Green Goblin's laugh, his pumpkin bomb, plus electro's lightning and sand from Sandman.

All of which was spotted by eagle-eyed fans on social media.

As well as fans noticing hints towards Sandman, Electro, and Green Goblin, they also think they've spotted The Lizard in an incredibly dark frame from the trailer. Although it could be a bit of a stretch, we could be in for the biggest Spider-Man movie yet if this turns out to be true.

Will The Sinister Six Be In Spider-Man: No Way Home?

Unfortunately, there's been no confirmation from Marvel surrounding the inclusion of the Sinister Six in Spider-Man: No Way Home.

But, considering all of the hints and confirmed return of Doctor Octopus, it's definitely looking likely that further villains will appear in the next Spidey adventure.

Marvel Studios are likely attempting to keep it all under wraps to surprise fans when No Way Home arrives this Christmas. So, we might be waiting a few more months until we find out what other villains will appear in the movie.

Spider-Man: No Way Home will release in movie theaters on December 17th.
