NIS America announced that The Witch and the Hundred Knight 2 will launch on PlayStation 4 on March 27 in North America and March 30 in Europe.

Along with the release date announcement the publisher launched a new gameplay trailer giving a preview of what players can expect from the upcoming sequel. Additionally, a new batch of screenshots was also released showing character interactions and battle gameplay.

The Witch and the Hundred Knight 2 follows a new cast of old and returning characters including, Chelka, Amalie, Milm, the Hundred Knight, and more. The game is set in the world of Kevala that is corrupted by the Witch’s Disease. When Milm turns up missing, her sister, Amalie, goes out in search of her only to discover that she has been cursed with the witch’s eye on her forehead.

Players will be able to travel through dungeons as the Hundred Knight and fight off hordes of enemies. The game also has deep equipment systems that allow players to fully customize the Hundred Knight and improve the character’s combo output.

Currently, The Witch and the Hundred Knight: Revival Edition is available on PlayStation 4 in the west. The game is an updated version of the first entry on of the series. It also introduces the Hundred Knight and a few other characters that will show up in The Witch and the Hundred Knight 2. A limited edition for The Witch and the Hundred Knight 2 was revealed.
