Witcher 3 Mod Allows Ciri to Wear Geralt’s Finest Armor

This mod gives Ciri Geralt's Ursine Witcher armor and it looks even better on the princess.

Since its release, all the way back in 2015, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt has been highly praised as one of the greatest RPGs of all time. Its compelling and well-written narrative, including some incredible side quests, is one of its key attractions – not to mention those stunning landscapes as far as the eye can see.  As much as I adored the base game and poured hundreds of hours into it, I had even more fun with its DLC, The Witcher 3: Blood and Wine. And thanks to a new mod, fans can now dress Ciri in Geralt‘s Ursine Witcher armor in the add-on to the game.

Over on Nexusmods, modder Bububull has created a mod that allows Geralt’s, child of surprise, Ciri to don his huge and heavy chainmail-based Ursine armor set. As good as it looked on Geralt, it actually looks like it was faithfully made to belong to the princess. It’s a great replica of the armor that’s based on the Grandmaster Legendary Ursine armor, which comes as part of the open-world game’s Blood and Wine DLC.

To get your hands on the mod, head on over to Nexusmods and drop the mod into your Witcher 3 mod folder and you’re good to go. You’ll then see Ciri’s main outfit will be replaced with the Ursine Witcher armor. The mod also includes a version without any textures so you’re free to change Ciri into another cool outfit like the Berserker one.

If you’re wanting to find the armor for Geralt in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, the gear is some of the best heavy armor found anywhere in the game and can be located in Skellige, at the peak of Yngvar’s Fang north of Urialla Harbor. You’ll also get a handful of bonus’ with it as well that includes Quen sign increase.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is available now on PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC, and the Complete Edition will be heading to next-generation platforms.
