Wizardry: Labyrinth of Lost Souls Suddenly Released for PS Vita in Japan Without Any Announcement (UPDATED)

It’s pretty rare, but at times games get released without a big fanfare. There are even occasions in which a game launches with no announcement at all. This is the case of Wizardry: Labyrinth of Lost Souls for PS Vita, that has just been released on the Japanese PSN without a word from Sony or publisher Acquire.

The game, that has been released in the west for PS3 and iOS by XSeed Games in 2011, is available in a stand alone edition, or bundled with a few DLC respectively for 1,600 and 2,400 yen.

It’ll be interesting to see if Xseed will release this new PS Vita version of the semi-recent chapter of the classic Wizardry dungeon crawling franchise, but for now we can only wait and see.

Update: at last Acquire decided that it was time to let the world know about the release, and launched a trailer, which you can see below.
