It used to be that trailers would just release on their own, but thanks to the never-ending hype machine that surrounds almost every video game launch the trend of releasing a teaser trailer of a trailer has become all the more popular. Today, Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus received a teaser trailer in preparation for a gameplay trailer that will be released tomorrow.

You can check out the teaser below.

The twenty-second teaser trailer begins with a tattered American flag accompanied by the sound of marching and a narrator saying: "You wanna strike fear in the Nazis? You wanna cause some real havoc with em' you've come to the right woman."

The trailer then quickly jumps to a tease at gameplay as William J. Blazkowicz picks a fight with a Nazi mech. We then get the title of the game and the release date for the full gameplay trailer: September 19. The full trailer, gameplay trailer #2, will release tomorrow at 10 a.m. EDT.

Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus will be released on October 27 for Xbox One, PS4, and PC, and will release on the Nintendo Switch in 2018. You can read more about the game coming to the Switch here. You can also check out the previous trailer which showed off the game's multiple locations here.
