This morning, Bethesda Softworks and MachineGames released a new gameplay trailer for the highly anticipated first-person shooter Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus.

This new trailer is entitled "No More Nazis" and gives us perhaps our best -- and bloodiest -- look at the combat of Wolfenstein II since it was revealed this summer at E3 2017. If you like your trailers packed full of Nazi headshots, explosions, and sex, then this new gameplay video will be right up your alley. While combat is at the forefront of this new trailer, we also see a few character moments between the main protagonist B.J. Blazkowicz and some of the The New Colossus' new characters like Grace Walker and Super Spesh, both of whom are part of the American Resistance.

Perhaps my favorite part of this new trailer for Wolfenstein II is the last thirty seconds or so of gameplay which is accompanied by some classic doo-wop music in the background. Since its reveal, Wolfenstein II has been leaning into a tone similar to that of what America was like during the 1940s or 50s with of course, a bit of a different spin. This has been most easily seen in some of the other videos for Wolfenstein II such as the reveal trailer which partially takes place in a classic diner and another that shows off a Nazi superhero named Blitzmensch. This juggling of tones between the absurd, over-the-top nature of the game's combat to go along with the twisted classic American vibes has been fun to see in these trailers and I really hope it translates to the finished game.

If you want to watch today's insane new trailer for Wolfenstein II yourself, then you can check it out at the bottom of the page. Wolfenstein II is out next month on October 27 for PS4, Xbox One, and PC with a version coming to Nintendo Switch sometime in 2018.
